Goal: familiarity with the effects of human influence on nature, environmental problems that must be solved at the present stage.

Tasks:
  • To acquaint with the consequences of human influence on nature, environmental problems;
  • To teach students to independently obtain new information, to operate it;
  • To develop cognitive interest in the world around them, communication skills;
  • To educate the ability to listen to another opinion, the culture of dialogue, to reflection their work in the classroom.

    Equipment: six hats, tables, materials of the articles.

    The content of the lesson.

    I. The Challenge:

    Our lesson I would like to start with the following lines:

    Nature gives people the miracles
    Her forever before we became debtors.
    But the debt we owe,

    Otherwise we will not be able to defend themselves.

    How do you understand these words?
    Who knows what we will say today?

    The reception of "Correct and incorrect statements"

  • I suggest we split into 6 groups and play the game "do you Believe that...". I read the question, you are in a group discuss the answer to the worksheet in the table below the number of the question to put "+" or "-".

    - What would you have done to our Earth each year and become more beautiful and attractive?

    - Summarise the statements of other groups.

    ANNEX 1

    Environmental problems of the modern world are diverse.

    In 1969 there was an ecological disaster on the river Rhine. Over 50 kilograms of harmful substances lying in the river for 2 years, has been breathtaking in its scale, multimillion-dollar marine fish.

    Perhaps adults remember the terrible ecological disaster in Seveso, as a result of the release of a cloud of dioxin at a chemical factory in the city about a year and a half was a desert area.

    People have even been seen in the 20 years since the planet's surface disappeared Aral sea.

    Olkhon is the largest island of lake Baikal. One of the most pressing environmental problems of Olkhon island is the disposal of household waste. Currently, this problem is solved by waste dump in a forest area.

    April 20, 2010 explosion on an oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico, led to the oil leak, received the widest in several decades of publicity.

    The damage caused by the leak was huge. Affected beaches, mostly in Mexico, but to some extent in the United States. Killing a large number of birds affected population of shrimp, squid, and some fishes.

    ANNEX 2

    Every year the ocean gets a huge amount of oil and oil products, wastes from various industrial enterprises, sewage from fields and farms, solid waste. From oil spills killed birds, disturbed gas exchange, killing the fry. Hazardous household waste containing poisonous substances. These substances accumulate in the body of fish, birds and other animals. Eating such animals can lead to death.

    The rainforest is the "lungs" of our planet. Scientists have found out. In these forests the amazing ecological relationships between organisms. In connection with the cutting, burning, uprooting of forests for agricultural plantations, for timber violated the food chain, which affects the species of plants and animals, including human, because we have a definite place in the chain. This will lead to the reduction of oxygen in the atmosphere, increased soil erosion, declining fertility, the extinction of plants and animals.

    Still, a majority of enterprises of housing and communal services discharge their sewage without treatment. The quality of wastewater disposed in the main do not meet the established standards. Has not improved the quality of drinking water.

    Humanity too is slowly coming to an understanding of the extent of danger posed by the flippant attitude towards the environment.
