Past and present through eyes of a environmentalist 2018
Goal: familiarity with the effects of human influence on nature, environmental problems that must be solved at the present stage.
Equipment: six hats, tables, materials of the articles.
The content of the lesson.
I. The Challenge:
Our lesson I would like to start with the following lines:
Nature gives people the miracles
Her forever before we became debtors.
But the debt we owe,
Otherwise we will not be able to defend themselves.
How do you understand these words?
Who knows what we will say today?
The reception of "Correct and incorrect statements"
So, do you believe that...:
1)... in the water of seas, rivers, oceans contain poisonous substances, radioactive waste?
2)... in connection with logging, burning, timber removal violated the food chain.
3)... is rapidly shrinking the available supply of minerals?
4)... air pollution occurs mainly as a result of work of industry and transport, which together annually emit into the atmosphere more than a billion solid and gaseous particles?
5)... as a result of the release of hazardous substances at the chemical plant a few years might be a desert area?
6)... for 20 years from the planet's surface vanished sea?
7)... if people destroy the natural environment, they will not be able to survive?
8)...people associated with the environment?
9)...in two or three generations humanity will disappear, if you will, careless about the environment.
- Put your leaves. We will return to them after studying the new material and check whether you thought.
- Search information, we will continue in groups.
Welcome "Six hats"
- I propose to present my experience, my impressions and thoughts based on the color of the hat:
White – facts;
Yellow – positive;
Black – negative;
Red – emotional state;
Green – way out of the situation;
Blue – a compilation of the statements of the groups.
Group 1. White hat.
- Using the offered information, tell us about the environmental problems facts. (Appendix 1).
Group 2. Yellow hat.
- Think! As a person associated with the environment.
Group 3. Black hat.
-Prove: if people destroy the natural environment, will they be able to survive. Use material from the article. (Appendix 2)
Group 4. Red hat on.
- Think how emotional state
you feel when you see around the dying nature?
Group 5. Green hat.
- What would you have done to our Earth each year and become more beautiful and attractive?
6 group. Blue hat.
- Summarise the statements of other groups.
Let's see, what have we got? Listen to representatives from each group.
The teacher reads the questions, the kids answer.
- Let's summarize our lesson. For this I offer you 3-5 minutes to compose and write.
- Define the four parameters of the future text:
R – role (a representative of our planet)
A – audience (to whom you will write)
F - form – a story or dialogue
T – the theme of "Past and present through the eyes of environmentalist.
- Read that you did it.
Environmental problems of the modern world are diverse.
In 1969 there was an ecological disaster on the river Rhine. Over 50 kilograms of harmful substances lying in the river for 2 years, has been breathtaking in its scale, multimillion-dollar marine fish.
Perhaps adults remember the terrible ecological disaster in Seveso, as a result of the release of a cloud of dioxin at a chemical factory in the city about a year and a half was a desert area.
People have even been seen in the 20 years since the planet's surface disappeared Aral sea.
The largest in the XX century technological disaster occurred in April 1986 at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. The total area of radioactive contamination spread to many parts of Ukraine, Belarus, and several regions of Russia.
In 2009 the illegal dumping of waste oil in Bashkiria has caused pollution of agricultural land and harm the environment.
In 2010, the careless and irresponsible attitude of people to the forest and heat waves have led to major forest fires in Russia.
Already for anybody not a secret that today the main environmental concern in the developed state is the release of debris.
Olkhon is the largest island of lake Baikal. One of the most pressing environmental problems of Olkhon island is the disposal of household waste. Currently, this problem is solved by waste dump in a forest area.
April 20, 2010 explosion on an oil platform in the Gulf of Mexico, led to the oil leak, received the widest in several decades of publicity.
The damage caused by the leak was huge. Affected beaches, mostly in Mexico, but to some extent in the United States. Killing a large number of birds affected population of shrimp, squid, and some fishes.
Every year the ocean gets a huge amount of oil and oil products, wastes from various industrial enterprises, sewage from fields and farms, solid waste. From oil spills killed birds, disturbed gas exchange, killing the fry. Hazardous household waste containing poisonous substances. These substances accumulate in the body of fish, birds and other animals. Eating such animals can lead to death.
The rainforest is the "lungs" of our planet. Scientists have found out. In these forests the amazing ecological relationships between organisms. In connection with the cutting, burning, uprooting of forests for agricultural plantations, for timber violated the food chain, which affects the species of plants and animals, including human, because we have a definite place in the chain. This will lead to the reduction of oxygen in the atmosphere, increased soil erosion, declining fertility, the extinction of plants and animals.
Still, a majority of enterprises of housing and communal services discharge their sewage without treatment. The quality of wastewater disposed in the main do not meet the established standards. Has not improved the quality of drinking water.
Rapidly reduced the available supply of minerals.
It is known that atmospheric pollution is mainly the result of industry, transport, etc., which together annually emit "into the wind" more than a billion solid and gaseous particles.
Humanity too is slowly coming to an understanding of the extent of danger posed by the flippant attitude towards the environment.
Meanwhile, the decision of such global problems require urgent joint efforts of international organizations, States, and regions, and the public.
